MUD BOGS

Class Rules

  • Class 1:
  • Daily driver truck. Current license and registration is required-must be street legal.

TIRES:

-35” tire and under D.O.T. approved. NO boggers .

ENGINE:

- Stock Intake and exhaust manifolds required.

  • Mufflers required- must exit outside body.

BODY AND FRAME:

- No gutting of interior or body.

  • Original manufacturer frame and matching body.
  • Fuel cells are allowed.
  • NO trans brake.
  • Stock seats.
  • NO ladder bars or traction assist.
  • 6 cylinders allowed engine mods.

Class 2:

  • If factory hard top removed or open top- vehicle must have 4 point roll bar. 

TIRES:

35” and under tires- no cutting- factory size tire numbers must be visible. DOT Approved Tire.

ENGINE:

- Single carburetor.

  • NO aftermarket heads or blocks. 
  • Heads must be OEM production.
  • NO magnetos. 
  • Open headers allowed. 
  • Racing fuel or pump gas only- NO nitrous 
  • Motor swaps allowed- but brands of engine and truck must be the same. 
  • Radiator- stock water pump and alternator required in stock location.
  • Battery relocation allowed. Battery must be securely mounted in battery box and all wiring must be secured and protected. 

BODY AND FRAME:

-Stock body =- full stock frame- i.e. full size body on full size frame. 

  • Body swaps allowed. 
  • No body and frame alterations other than to accept body and frame mounts. 
  • No narrowing or shortening of frame or body. 
  • No missing body parts. 
  • Must match manufacturer and production size. 
  • Body and box must remain intact- interior gutting allowed. 
  • Functional flat beds allowed- must be within 2” of width of cab- must be full length of unmodified frame- NO plywood. 
  • Fuel cells allowed. 

SUSPENSION:

-Full OEN style suspension- NO coil over suspensions or 3/4 link suspensions

  • Lift kits allowed. 
  • Ladder/traction bars allowed. 
  • 4 wheel hydraulic brakes required. 

Class 3:

If factory hard top removed or open top– vehicle must have 4-point roll bar

TIRES:

Any D.O.T. approved tire – No cut tires or tractor tires.

ENGINE:

Single carburetor

Aftermarket cast iron heads allowed

NO after market blocks

NO magnetos

Open headers allowed

Racing fuel or pump gas only – NO nitrous

Motor swaps allowed – but brands of engine & truck must be the same

Battery relocation allowed. Battery must be securely mounted in battery box & all wiring must be secured & protected

Electric water pumps allowed

BODY & FRAME:

Gutting allowed

Minimum 4-point roll cage -.090 thickness – SECURED to frame

Required if vehicle gutted, any structural component removed or cab back is open – i.e. Blazer/Bronco

Open top vehicles require 6-point cage

Maximum 150” wheelbase

SUSPENSION: Any modifications allowed

ALL SAFETY FEATURES REQUIRED

GENERAL RULES

-Helmets and seatbelts REQUIRED for both drives and passengers.

-Passengers allowed in any class- long as safety features are present.

- Vehicle is allowed to run a maximum of 2 classes and may be entered twice in a class with a DIFFERENT driver in their respective class.

- Once a vehicle pulls to the line and breaks the start beam, that constitutes a run. There are no scratches or refunds at this point.

- Any drier going out of the pit and continuing on and knocking down markers will be DQ’d for BOTH runs. This decision will be made by the track officials and all decisions are FINAL. IF YOU HIT A MARKET STOP.

- NO FIGHTING! May lead to disqualification.

- Judges decisions are final.

- NO tire chains allowed.

- Drivers have 3 minuted to get to the starting line when their number/name is called.

- Cable hook up is mandatory for every entry unless officials opt for no cable prior to start of class. 

ALL TRUCKS MUST HAVE A CLEVIS.
